週末農業をしてみたいという方や、新規就農に興味がある方には、市民農園がおすすめです。
農地の購入は大変
農地を購入するには、原則農家である(あるいは農家になる予定)の人しか購入できません。
また、費用も一反100万～300万円くらいしますので、思い切った投資が必要になります。
加えて購入する農地が、遊休農地などであれば再度栽培を行える状態にまで手を加える必要もあります。
思い切って購入した農地が水はけが悪かったりなどのリスクを抱えている可能性もあります。

市民農園なら簡単
市民農園とは、農業者以外の方向けに、農地を小さく区分けして貸出しされている農園のことです。
市民農園なら、30m2程度で年額30,000円程度で借りれます。
農機具や資材(堆肥)などもレンタルしてくれるところも多いので、自分で揃えるより安上がりになると思います。
ほとんどの市民農園では、指導員の方がいて、野菜の育て方などを教えてくれるサービスもあります。
市民農園で勉強してから新規就農すれば、知識不足を解消できるのではないでしょうか。
また、なかには栽培すべてを任せることができる市民農園もあるようです。
